LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Lightning protection systems are intended to mitigate exposure to lightning strikes and resulting damages, but are not guaranteed to protect
against all lightning strikes and resulting damages. Where National Lightning Protection Corporation ("NLP") supplies and installs its Prevectron Lightning Protection Air Terminal pursuant to an executed Quotation and
NLP's Standard Terms and Conditions for Quotation, NLP warrants its Prevectron Lightning Protection Air Terminal system against defects in workmanship and materials arising from normal usage for a period of five (5) years
from the original purchase date.
Where NLP supplies its Prevectron Lightning Protection Air Terminal pursuant to an executed Quotation and NLP's Standard Terms and Conditions for Quotation, but installation is
to be provided by others, NLP warrants only the supplied Prevectron Lightning Protection Air Terminal materials against defects arising from normal usage for a period of five (5) years from the original purchase date.
NLP's obligation to repair or replace any defective product supplied by it shall not include any obligation to reimburse the purchaser for transportation, installation, removal, unauthorized repairs, or any other expenses
that may be incurred by the purchaser or others in relation to the product defect.
NLP's LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY specifically excludes: (I) any equipment that others have altered, modified, repaired,
abused, misused, neglected, improperly installed, or failed to maintain in accordance with NLP's recommendations; (II) fatigue failure or similar phenomena resulting from induced vibration, harmonic oscillation, or
resonance associated with movement of air currents around the product; and (III) labor required to remove and/or reinstall original or replacement parts associated with services performed under the warranty. If the
product(s) is to be installed on an existing foundation or on other structures, the purchaser assumes all responsibility for the structural integrity of the existing foundation, anchorage, or structures and all consequences
arising therefrom. Under this LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY, NLP shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any defect in any product or component thereof.
This LIMITED
LIFETIME WARRANTY does not apply to replacement units. Units supplied as a replacement are covered under the LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY of the original purchase and do not extent that original LIMITED LIFETIME
WARRANTY. NLP's liability on a replacement unit is limited to replacement of the defective product only. A written return authorization from NLP must be on file prior to the return of any material. All
returned products must be shipped with any transportation charges prepaid and must have the return authorization number clearly marked on the package.
This LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY is the only warranty provided
by NLP and is provided in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied. NO OTHER WRITTEN OR VERBAL CONDITIONS, AGREEMENTS, REPRESENTATIONS, OR WARRANTIES SHALL BE ENFORCEABLE AGAINST NLP AND ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THOSE FOR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
NOTE ABOUT UL CERTIFICATION
Where shown, the UL Certification logo is in reference to the UL category control number (OVHC) which is
specific to the air terminal only. The use of the UL logo and reference to certification is not intended to imply that UL has endorsed the system or its installation. Independent accredited third-party inspection
bodies, such as UL LLC, do not endorse Franklin products, ESE products, or any other technology-based lightning protection products and/or installations.
